Chi iron is what you need
Reviewed by Rebecca, Mon Nov 3 2003
I've used the traditional metal straightening irons before. I've even used a cheaper ceramic model but I've never been able to get a silky, smooth soft look until the Chi. The Chi is a ceramic iron. A ceramic iron is considered to be better for the hair than metal. It heats up more evenly and avoids the really hot spots that can be found in metal irons. Ceramic also adds a shine and silkiness to even the most dry hair that metal irons just don't. |

Absolutely Fabulous
Reviewed by Jamie, Sun Nov 2 2003
Their is just no words to describe how good this iron is. You take any hair from curly to straight hair and this iron will still make it look better. And the hair doesn't feel fried after this iron like old metal ones do. I used to use the Hot Tools iron and I thought that one was good, but it doesn't even compare, and because its slim , you get a straight from the root look with no crease. Sure this iron is good for curly hair buts also great for already straight hair, my one friend has straight hair and I used on her , and her hair is kind of fuzzy , not a silky straight, I ran the the iron over it and flip the ends under and she was amazed how different her hair look, she's requesting that I do it again. Even though the price is a bit high it's worth every penny.

IT'S OK...NOT THE BEST
Reviewed by LeAnn, Thu Oct 2 2003
I have really fine to normal curly hair. CHI was the first iron i ever really spent a lot of money on. I thought it was ok, but it didn't keep it totally straight through out the day. My hair would start to flick out and even curl. I think everyone should look at other options before considering this one. |
