never mind the price it's worth every penny, styling time is cut in half, no more going over one piece twice once is enough, try it yourself and you won't sorry. |

OK well I've had this iron for more than two years. And yes at the beginning you're like wow this is great. But woah it damages your hair!! Of course heat is going to damage it. But it's not all that great. I have really curly had and it doesn't work all that great. It doesnt resist humidity that well eitheir like others put it out to be. So now im going to try the sedu or solia.:) Well good luck to anyone that gets it but do NOT spend $200 on it. Here in houston they sell it at Beauty First and it's now on sale for $119. |

awesome

This is BY FAR the best straightener ever! I have long, thick, curly hair and I bought this CHI 2 years ago and it still works great. It takes half the time other ceramic straighteners take and it lasts until you wash again. Even the quality of the straight is far superior. I used to have to blow dry my hair straight section by section, then straighten it with an iron (an hour and a half to do it), now I can just blow dry without straigthening with round brush and then use the CHI and it takes about 20 minutes. Noone ever knows that I have naturally curly hair when it is straightened with this product, whereas you could still tell with other straighteners. I also live in Florida where the humidity is often 100% and it still stays straight! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! |

it was great... while it lasted

when i first got the chi i was ecsatic becuase it worked great and gave me super straight hair. but recently (its been about a year) the light has stopped coming on. The plates have come loose and it wont heat up anymore. I have heard so many stories about people whose chis are breaking after a year. It cost too much money to only last that long. dont be fooled by your chi flat iron working at first... becuase it probably wont last long. |
