Metallic Salts! 100% Organic? My hair is green after highlights.

Don't believe the "no metallic salts", maybe in sunset glo. Used brown tone, now my hair is green after bleaching. |

i am happy to say that my hair did NOT turn green when i used this product--medium brown color--which i was afraid would happen after reading other reviews here. |

i am happy to say that my hair did NOT turn green when i used this product--medium brown color--which i was afraid would happen after reading other reviews here.
i used to use henna on my hair when i was a teen, with great success--i got it from some drug store in a yellow can, egyptian henna, it said on the front. my hair was always silky and wonderful afterwards. then, as i grew older, i resorted to chemical colors and highligts. now, with a three month old baby that i am breastfeeding, i have come back to henna to color my hair because it is the only thing that won't get into my breastmilk.
i have very mild highlights from the hennalucent treatment, on my dark brown hair. it didnt' cover any gray, as i didn't expect it to, but held a tiny hope.
overall, i am pleased with the product and will try it again in another color or even try mixing colors to get a nice one for myself. it's nice to be able to have my hair done without any harsh chemicals. |

green hair sucks

My first time coloring my hair ever, and it turned green. I used to have light brown reddish hair, I wanted it more red not green! I used the earth brown package and turned earth green. I hate my hair. I followed the directions for the minimal setting ANDlemon juiced my hair after the green occured but its still a murky seaweed color. I wish I had seen the other warnings across the net. The product should have had a warning label, and a hotline for me to call. I don't know what to do to fix my hair! I don't want to go to school like this, its not even a pretty green!!!! |
