I'm still in love
Reviewed by CARMENJONES, Wed Feb 9 2005
Yes , I'm sorry so sorry. I found a way to get rid of the orange bozo looking hair. I used a clarifying shampoo and it got rid of the orange. But I have dyed my hair recently with the Tanzania Sand by African Pride, and it looks absolutely marvelous. I am tireeeed of all those females on my job asking me about my haircolor. Psych! LOL. Now, can you believe people have the nerve to ask me if ,I am half caucasian because the color looks so natural and non- brassy. But for that crazy question ,I say no love I am pure African American and you absolutely have to try African Pride to get this haircolor. The reason is because I use African Pride like a hair dye instead of a highlighting kit, I dye all of my past shoulder length hair . But I have also informed them that this honey blonde hair w/platinum blonde highlights is from re-applying the hair dye over a course of some months. But anyways all hats off to African Pride. Always try Sahara Shimmer and Tanzania Sand they are the best shades. |

Reviewed by CARMENJONES, Mon Sep 6 2004
YES I'M BACK AND I HAVE NEWS . I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF SAHARA SHIMMER FOR YEARS BUT WANTED TO GO LIGHTER FOR A CHANGE. SO I TRIED A DIFFERENT SHADE TANZANIA SAND. THIS CRAP TURNED MY HAIR ORANGE . I TRULY RECOMMEND NOT USING TANZANIA SAND,IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE THE LIGHTEST HIGHLIGHTER, BUT IT IS THE WORST HAIR DYE EVER.I'M TRULY PISSED OFF. I WILL LET YOU GIRLS KNOW WHAT I USED TO FIX IT. BYE FOR NOW! |

I'm in love
Reviewed by carmenjones, Sun Aug 22 2004
I gave this product a try thinking it would be just like the others I had previously tried. I fell in love with the color and the silkiness my hair felt afterwards. They really did their homework this time. It is actually a product "finally" for African American women by the way do not try ,Colors hair dye it is terrible. So if you are hesitant don't be. I am so tired of all the compliments. What product did you use? What color is that? I am lying I love getting the compliments. People also ask me does it break you hair off absolutely not.
P.S. Again do not use "Colors" hair dye it is terrible. |

It does what it says...
Reviewed by Crystal, Thu Aug 5 2004
That's exactly it... What it says on the box " The color you see, is the color you get!" I can agree with that. This is the first hair coloring system that I have used and it gives me the exact color on the box. I recommend this product to everyone that wants that "do it yourself" Highlighting kit! |
